      Starlux made a huge range over the years, from 1952 I think, to the early 1980s. Many had very short production runs and all were hand-painted. Babirusa, Black-backed Jackal, Kiwi, Fennec, Proboscis Monkey, Secretary Bird, Chamois, Rocky Mountain Goat etc. Some, like the Thylacine are scarce, others made in limited editions very valuable. Some especially elephants and rhinos, were made unpainted like some plastic Elastolin, designed to be hand-painted afterwards by the customer. They all have a very distinct and quite charming style.
