      Jurong entered into that Spix's Macaw conservation partnership last year with the Brazilian government. Interesting if they get one or more macaws.

      @FunkyGibbon It should mean that public activities (display (?), education programmes, etc) start from November.

      I was planning a trip to Singapore for later this year, but I will put it off a bit if Spix are really on the cards.

      @zooboy28 from what i've heard, the Spix's macaws (yes, more than one) will indeed be on public display by december.

      oh wow that's cool. I had doubts over whether this random picture actually meant they were coming to Jurong.

      Now I need to know how long they will have them for and how I can get back over there!
