Strange combination

July 13 2014. European eagle owls living together with Mouflons and it seems to work. both species have been bred in this enclosure.

Are the Owls flight restricted, or is there a top on the enclosure?
I wouldn't trust them with new born lambs.

They are realy together and there is a top on the enclosure. I would say even new-born Mouflons are to big for Eagle-owls and when the owls get their regulary food they don't go searching for other food-items. Even so, it's a strange combination !
