      Stanley Field Hall
Su-Lin, the baby giant panda, was about six weeks old at the time of her capture in the Province of Szechwan, China. She was between four and five months old in February, 1937, when she reached Brookfield Zoo near Chicago, where she was on exhibition until the time of her death, April 1, 1938. Su-Lin was the first giant panda to be brought out of China alive and to be exhibited in captivity.
Presented by the Chicago Zoological Society. Taxidermy by C. J. Albrecht.
