      They are so different looking than the African Elephants I am used to seeing in zoos, partially because they are young, but also im sure the subspecies has something to do with it. Beautiful looking herd.

      @DelacoursLangur These should be the same subspecies of most of the US elephant, though I'd imagine being so new to captivity will have something to do with it. I've been fortunate enough to have photographed other Swaziland-imported elephants at Dallas and Sedgwick County over the past couple years as well.
