muy bonita :)
Y que viva mexico, it should say
I am at a loss of words to describe this, but i suppose it is more accurate than the egyptian theme with giraffes at the detriot zoo. The axolotls come from lake Xochimilco here in mexico city. So if you went to lake Xochimilco on a holiday on a chinampa boat, the mariachis would be playing guitars and maracas, wearing sombreros, and you would be offered tacos with chile picante. So only the cactus is really out of place, because such plants are not found by lakes and rivers.
ah yes but some of the mariachis may have a cactus or two on their windowsills at home
This tank is really for kids (it's right next to the childrens' area) and looks a lot better than with the plain blue background it had last week. I think the axolotls like it too - I swear I saw one of them trying to perform the Jarabe Tapatío on the sombrero!!
And you dislike the Mini Monkey house at Wellington Zoo?!?!?!?!?!
It looks like something you'd find in a Taco Bill.
ya, I'm fickle
I wanted Speedy Gonzales on there too, but the girl doing the painting hadn't heard of him!!! (Or the Tijuana Toads!!!!!!!)
How old was the girl doing the painting? Five?
*shakes head, exasperatedly*
Maybe you could have explained it over a tequila?
is that a reference to not knowing Speedy Gonzales?
Separate names with a comma.
