      The Collections Manager of the museum's Vertebrate Paleontology department Dr. Richard Hulbert told me that his department had the world's largest collection of fossil Tapir (Family: Tapiridae) material.

      Tapirs are also his main area of interest and expertise, in fact, he scientifically described Tapirus webbi (shown above) in 2005 as well as Tapirus polkensis in 2010.
