Meh.... not very suitable to leopards :(

For the leopard this is at least as bad as a Brehm house cage....

Luckily they're giving the Brehm house a makeover...

@amur leopard Somebody mentioned yesterday that this enclosure is also getting a make over now. I guess it won't be extended, but any structure is welcome

Great - don't suppose they have much space to extend it into but as you said, even a small improvement could go a long way.

I saw a recent Facebook post with a series of photos that showed a much improved environment in this leopard exhibit. A number of climbing options were added, with branches extending around the exhibit.

Yay! I always feel that leopards' opportunities to climb in most zoos are sub-standard and/or lacking.
This is one of the only exhibits where I feel that the theming got in the way of the animals' basic needs and viewing opportunities.

The size is at least bigger than Berlin or Prague.....
With more stuff inside, both for climbing and privacy, and closing this higher viewing point, it would be the best exhibit for Javan leopard I've seen.

@FunkyGibbon Problem is that Berlin and Prague do not exactly set a high standard :p, though I am curious how the new enclosure in Berlin will look ;)
