      Thank you for posting these photos. I think this was a unique exhibit and I'm sure that it appealed to children. It might not have been ideal for the macaques, but there were much worse enclosures for macaques in other zoos at that time.

      When I saw it for the first time my first thought was how the keep it clean ! Later - when I was a zoo-keeper myself I was puzzeled even more !
