The new Africa mixed exhibit

Huge and beautiful, new caddy! The zoo\'s largest caddy! Giraffe, zebra, pelican and antelope live here, just like in Africa! The visitors from a bridge, 3 metres from tall one the animals may be looked at. Before the stables little accustoming-exhibits can be found, and the neighbourhood of the feeders was concreted over against internal water. Despite this the rest of his parts running out huge, grassy, with bushes and with trees, a pond and islands in the interest of the comfort of the animals. Some turtle live in the lake. The presented races: - Baringo giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi), 1 male, 1 female - Gemsbok (Oryx gazella) 1 female - Sable antelope (Hippotragus niger) 1 male - Southern lechwe (Kobus leche) 2 male - Greater kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) 1 male - Addax (Addax nasomaculatus) 1 male, 3 female - Grevy s zebra (Equus grevyi) 2 male - Eastern white pelican (Pelecanus onocrotalus) 2 male, 1 female, 2 old unknowns, 6 young unknowns - Red-eared turtle (Trachemys scripta elegans) - would not have received place originally in the exhibit, but they were wandering here from the surrounding lakes and they feel well :) Newer individuals will arrive to the antelope living alone and the giraffe ( to the zebra a female, it i don't know, that the zebra will live in some you are both male beside the new female in the team will be).

      The male giraffe must have been Reinhold (pure Rothschild's), the female Nikola from Praha (she sadly died a year later).

      All the hybrid females (3 at least + perhaps a 2009 calf) disappeared after 2008. Would appreciate further info!
