Tentatively ID'd as [i]Amietophrynus regularis[/i] - any thoughts otherwise welcome. :)

      I'd agree M it looks like the square marked toad to me. What was the temps like when you found this and was it very humid at all?

      Thanks dean. It was warm but not overly hot by African standards as I recall - it was on a grassy path between crop fields along a lakeside so was reasonably humid but certainly not extremely so. Not dissimilar habitat to where you might find Bufo bufo, in fact! Not sure if it was originally disturbed by the party of British ecotourists plus guide or by the local kids playing in the field, but I was glad to see it. :)
