Traditional Limburg farm yard - Shetland pony paddock, 2019-03-30
With a hawthorn (Crataegus) hedge, a replicated historical element as this species was traditionally used to fence of meadows and grazing areas before the invention of barbed and electrical wires. Mostly gone now due to industrialized agriculture and these being a reservoir for fruit tree diseases.
