      I can see the practical reasons, but it was extremle ugly to put an identification tag on the swans neck. Pity, since it's such a beautiful bird!

      I hope you understand the lake on which they are exhibited is several dozen acres in size and the large tags are necessary to distinguish individuals from a very good distance.

      Yes, of course I understand the practical advantage of it. But that doesn't make it less ugly...

      @Jodea as long as the animal/s can breathe and move their necks freely it’s not a problem.
