      I didn't know you had Tuatara there..! Awesome..! Make sure you look after them, no one really knows how long they live but most likely 100 years + !!!

      You don't see them out of their burrows very often. All three of the photos in this gallery were taken on the same day, when all the tuataras were out basking.

      Wow! Amazing! Highly unusual, all I can utter at this point .......

      Any chance ever that their group might mate? Or do they need to bring in 1-2 more males to stimulate breeding behaviour as they do in the wild?

      NZ Jeremy, can you elaborate on the species availability for conservation purposes overseas?
