    • Chlidonias
      Tweeters and Friends is just north of Palmerston North (in the lower North Island), and is a pet store with an attached "parrot park" (with an entrance fee). There are about forty aviaries here, mostly housing parrots and parakeets.

      In the photo above, the female Crimsonwing is at the front and the male at the top.
