Very friendly pelicans

Very friendly pelicans

I think I visited the Curraghs twice, in the late 1960s, soon after the park was opened. Not surprisingly, I remember very little except the nature of the area and the children's zoo with a lovely wooden Noah's Ark - probably long gone now. However my strongest memory is of a magnificent free-flying pelican. I think the Curraghs suit them.
