      ...even as a great supporter of the Tierpark, I'd probably have to agree that these are not its finest area (although there is an outdoor area in addition to these rather small indoor dens).

      Always worth remembering that until fairly recently - early 1990s - these were cages for great apes - and that was without any external accommodation at all.
