so, looking at these photos, they have the 'stand off' barriers in the form of hot wires on the inside of the fence rather than outside, or is there a fence wayback from the main fence for keeping visitors back?
There is a fence (perhaps 3.5 feet high) that works as a stand-off barrier for the general public. Then there is the main chain-link fence and you are correct that in the lion enclosure there is a third fence line that is electrified. All of the fences results in obscured viewing and a fairly small, sterile exhibit.
