      @elefante White-faced whistling ducks, at least here in Europe, are fairly common in zoos.

      A quick search through the gallery shows me Jacksonville, San Diego and Omaha's as some of the larger zoos that have them, as well as a large amount of other zoos. Of course, don't let that take away from the fact that seeing them in the wild is still very cool!

      @Mr Gharial, yes, it was a treat to see them in the wild, especially in a marsh with elephants, hippos, and Cape buffalo.
