White Lion cub

Here is one of the shots I managed to get during my visit. It\'s pretty difficult to get a clear shot, as I\'m shooting through glass which is in front of fencing. The glass made nearly all my shots hazy and a pain to focus through. And the reflection from the glass was absolutely terrible. Plus I had to deal with the crowds.

Believe or not, this was my best shot of the day.

This little guy stood there looking at the crowd for quite some time before being pounced on by one of his brother\'s from behind.

The set up from news clips looked like it would be troublesome. Glass and fencing is not ideal but given the tight timeline and the fact that area was never designed for public viewing its a fair compromise. Photographers like you are frustrated but at least everyone can see them before they grow.

True, and I realize that this was pretty much a rush job so visitors get a chance to see the cubs before they go on exhibit in the main exhibit during the spring. I actually enjoyed watching them more then trying to get a photo, once I realized the situation I was dealing with.
