      Would I be correct in assuming Whipsnade currently have four adult European Bison+ this new calf, the first born there for many years?

      This would be an older pair(including a now non-breeding cow) plus the two younger females more recently arrived, one of which has bred with the older bull. Or is it some other grouping?s

      Almost correct - it's the older pair plus 3 new females brought in late last year :)

      Thanks- good news that after many years they've reached the half dozen mark with them again. Now for the American Bison(some hope?)
