So Procavia capensis and Heterohyrax brucei in a mixed exhibit?
    • RonBurrgundy
Yes. It also could be Procavia capensis syriacus (ztl) but the sign says Procavia capensis.

Until a few years back Heterohyrax brucei lived in the now Kirks' Dik-Dik enclosure with some african birds. At that time Procavia capensis was the only species in the enclosure.

@RonBurrgundy Thank you! Do you know which african birds species were together with the bush hyrax earlier?
    • RonBurrgundy
@Orycteropus Not exactly but I know for sure there were Weaver Birds and probably Ploceus cucullatus cucullatus since they still live in the zoo. And some red bird. There is even an old photo on Zoochat.

@RonBurrgundy The red ones probably Foudia madagascariensis, as these are (amongst with others) currently exhibited together with Ploceus cucullatus. Thanks!
