Hi, I'm Natalie. I'm a 23 year old hobbyist animal/wildlife photographer and that brings me to the St. Louis Zoo quite a bit. I've always been fascinated by animals, so the St. Louis Zoo practically raised me. I've come to be very passionate about zoos and their role in helping instill appreciation of animals within communities.
While the St. Louis Zoo is by far the zoo I've spent the most time at, I've had the opportunity to visit my fair share of zoos, sanctuaries, and aquariums. Most notably, the Kansas City Zoo (a handful of times through the last decade, last visit in 2018), Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo (2012), the Shedd Aquarium (2014), the Montreal Biodome (2017) and the San Diego Zoo (2022).
