Another Safari Lodge? Seems every Zoo feels the need for one. Sigh. I love the fact they are bringing Pygmy Hippos back. Not sure what will become of the Tiger, Sun Bear and Warty Hogs, but change is good.

The Visayan Warty Pig sisters seem to have been sent to Pittsburgh. With the bear and warty pigs gone, are tigers all that remain in the Asia exhibit?
Sarus cranes also got shipped out recently. The Asian animals are Malayan tiger and white-handed gibbon. As far as I know (based on the latest zoo newsletter), the reason for the moves is to make room for a new expanded gibbon exhibit. The newsletter said it should be done by the end of 2015, along with a new carousel.
