Well it took us 766 days to upload our first 5,000 photos

107 days to upload our second 5,000 photos

42 days to upload our third 5,000 photos

So I expect to see 20,000 photos in the gallery by next Friday :p :D

I have at least 5000 pictures! Whether they all end up on the forum... What was the 15000th picture by the way?

Not quite - an average of about 120. There were some days I reckon it was getting up that high though.

Ahh yes - I took just over 5000 photos on a 42 day trip to South America, but the day I visited Buenos Aires Zoo, I took over 800 photos ... so if I had visited a lot of zoos on my trip, I possibly would have been averaging close to 500 per day.

Don't you love digital cameras? :D

15,000 photos! that's an amazing achievement, I wish I had a digital camera of my own, then I could take all the photos i want and help out, my parents are so worried that my brothers or I will lose it, I take most of my photos of myself at these shops called Photoplus,

The photo of me in my profile though was taken like 5 zoo visits back when the family actually came,

Some people on this forum though take such amazing photos!

We had two cameras on the trip and one video camera. My dad uses the nikon (which takes all the good pictures (;)) and my mum uses the 'baby' nikon (just a basic digital camera).

I use a Sony HDD video camera, but do try to take pictures when I can. There are some great picture I took of Malayan peacock pheasants, Proboscis monkey, Greater BoP and Oriental pied hornbill.

    Which was the 15000th photo?

Yeah, I'll put quite a few more up for you to see, I think the closeups of the herd of pygmy elephants may be of interest...
