Thought I would start this early so we could host discussion on the transfer window. This thread will cover all 19/20 leagues, so people can talk about the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue Nos, Ligue 1, the MLS and others. Eden Hazard going to Real Madrid might cripple Chelsea somewhat, and I don't think Lampard will save Chelsea. Real will probably pick up again since Zidane is back. He knows the players well, and I hope they will pick up again, because I enjoy watching them play. Here are my predictions for some leagues: Premier League: Manchester City to win the league again. Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester United to get to the Champions League. Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton to get to the Europa League. Sheffield, Norwich and Wolves to be relegated. Juventus to win Serie A. Barcelona to win La Liga. PSG will win Ligue 1. Rangers to win the Scottish Premiership. Leeds to win the Championship.
I think they'll suffer what Burnley suffered last season. They will underestimate the competition I feel.
Marcus Rashford just signed a contract extension. Good for Man United, Rashford is a good player in the team.
Lots of transfer news so far. Anderson Herrara has joined PSG for a free. It'll be interesting to see what role he plays in at the club. Man City have bought Rodri for a club record fee. I am not sure if he is actually worth it though. Ndombele has joined Spurs, a very good replacement for Dembele. Look forward to seeing him. Wan-Bissaka has joined Man United. A great signing, he is an absolute tank. Arjen Robben has retired from football. Very sad, he was a great player and did great things at Bayern Munich. Kovacic has signed for Chelsea. Decent, but I wonder if he will under perform. Frank Lampard is Chelsea's new manager. I personally think he will get the sack, as Chelsea haven't got a very good side compared to the rest of the big six. Hazard leaving has had a big impact, so I wonder who his replacement will be.
Wolves relegated? Are you joking, the club is steadily rising. No way will the top six be in that order. For me it’s Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs should be the top four.
If Wolves get relegated I will stomp around the amazon basin infested with anacondas and shout 'come and get fatty'!
