After a visit last weekend to Artis - Amsterdam I can add some more species to my already impresive ( ;) ) list :
    2 ) Alpine ibex ( Capra ibex )
    3 ) Axis deer ( Axis axis )
    4 ) Lowland tapir ( Tapirus terrestris )
    5 ) Grevy's zebra ( Equus grevyi )
    6 ) Java mouse deer ( Tragulus javanicus )
    7 ) Reticulated giraffe ( Giraffa reticulata )
    8 ) Nilgau ( Boselaphus tragocamelus )
    9 ) Greater kudu ( Tragelaphus strepsiceros )
    10) Red river hog (Potamochoerus porcus )
    11) Scimitar-horned oryx ( Oryx dammah )
    12) Malayan tapir ( Tapirus indicus )
    13) Springbock ( Antidorcas marsupialis )
    14) Lowland anoa ( Bubalus depressicornis )
    15) Vicuna ( Vicugna vicugna )

If I should believe Zootierliste I only missed one species, the Reeves' muntjac from which I have no clue where it should be kept.

I saw Reeve's Muntjac at Artis in 2012, somewhere near the bird house according to my species list (it appears between Black Grouse and Fruit Bat - so somewhere near that end of the house between outdoor and indoor exhibits). Potentially it was one of the outdoor exhibits attached to the Bird House? I'll check my photos of the trip and see if they give any more info.

This photo (http://www.zoochat.com/160/north-american-porcupine-erethizon-dorsatum-amp-229079/) from 2011 shows a mixed Muntjac and North American Porcupine exhibit, but I don't recall this mix from my visit. At that time the porcupines were in the small mammal house.

Thank you zooboy28 for this information. I think I saw everything near the Bird / monkey and Reptilian house but next to these buildings a large part of the Carnivore-housing had broken down in favour of the new to build Elephant out-door enclosure - maybe the Muntjacs were formely house around this area ?
Never mind however because I guess I will encounter Muntjacts in other collections this year :).

I had a look and it looks like it was actually in the last external bird house exhibit - furthest from the main entrance. Do you remember what was in there on your visit?

In the last aviary of the real Birdhouse a kea was housed, in the last cage of the complety building-row ( bird and monkey houses together ) there were - if I've don't mixed-up pictures - the North American porcupines.

The exhibit I'm referring to is that one at the end of both houses. According to the photo in the gallery it used to house Muntjac and NA Porcupine, but when I visited just Muntjac and when you visited just NA Porcupine! Odd :D Maybe the Muntjac are elsewhere temporarily while construction work on carnivore house is underway.

When I visited Artis last summer, the Reeves' Muntjac were held with the Red Pandas - seen and signed.

The Red pandas are now house at the far end of the zoo ( near the sea-lion complex ) in one of the former bear pits, is this the place they were last year also ? In this enclosure there was a kind of a box at the far end of the enclosure which could have been in use as being a night enclosure for muntjact ( ? ). As said however didn't see the animals themself. Didn't make a picture of the sign(s) of this enclosure :(.

No, they were in an enclosure right next to the Prairie Dogs (and near to the Pheasantry) when I saw them.

Not anymore. Around this place a new Jaguar enclosure is being build and several enclosures had to put down for this construction so it could be that the former Panda / Muntjac enclosure has become a victom of it.

Reviewing my photos from this zoo I don't actually think I saw the Blue Duikers after all.
So my total stands at 46.
