    Will there be a table, which shows the results so far? It´s easier than Scrolling through the whole thread!

    I will make an overview soon, yes ;)

    However, @Joker1706, we're listing species only (so no multiple subspecies of the same species, as you seem to do with chimpanzees). I realize that I should have said this clearer in the first part but reckoned it was obvious enough. I don't like working with subspecies in lists like these as there is often a lot of discussion as to if different subspecies are valid, etc.
    Also, I don't think hybrid orangutans should count as a different species either. (Unless many people disagree with me in that regard? It seems odd being able to list orangutans 3 times when there are only 2 species...).

    So where do you stand on the Red-fronted/Rufous-fronted Lemur split ? I have seen both and only counted the one. Have to say on the whole I agree not counting hybrids and sub species on this challenge

    I highlighted this issue back when he was mulling over what to set as the challenge, as I recall - hence the following:

    I am also in agreement regarding not counting hybrids and subspecies, by the by.

    So, okay...

    I do understand your argumentation regarding the subspecies so far, although there are at least 4 (sub)species of chimpanzees on ZTL.

    But what about a zoo like Wuppertal? If this is the only zoo with Orangutans, I will visit this year and they are only showing the hybrid orangs? Would this count in the challenge? And how shall I declare them here, because they aren´t Bornean or Sumatran as well...

    The simple answer is you don't count them!

    @Joker1706, as zoogiraffe said you just wouldn't count the hybrid. (Unless it is one I mentioned in the first post, in which case the instructions are as mentioned there).

    @ShonenJake13, it's never too late!

    @Joker1706, could you possiblyrepost your entire list in a post and remove multiple subspecies of one species (while quickly scanning your list I saw you listed 2 chimps and 2 b&w ruffed lemurs) and the hybrid orangutan? That way I have a better view of what your current total is, and can make an overview displaying everyone's current totals. :D
