What is the current status of red ruffed lemurs for this game? I see a couple are counting them, but as far as I know they are still a sub-species?

I thought it was widely accepted that red ruffed lemur is indeed a separate species, whereas the other 3 ruffed lemur subspecies are subspecies of black-and-white ruffed lemur.

The IUCN certainly has split them (Varecia rubra (Red-ruffed Lemur, Red Ruffed Lemur)), and that's what I suggested we'd go with as a sort of 'checklist.' Feel free to count them! ;)

Went to Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen yesterday and got some new species.

    21. Hamadryas baboon (Papio hamadryas)
    22. Ring-tailed lemur (Lemur catta)
    23. Colombian black spider monkey (Ateles fusciceps rufiventris)

@Joker1706, no I haven't seen the baboons in Köln. They probably were outside, but since it was raining quite hard I didn't take the time to go and see, partly because I knew I'd see them in Wildlands.
