Only one new bird from a very unique zoo:

    Zoo/citadelle Besancon

    67. Comb duck

Trips to the 2 biggest bird parks in Europe are currently being planned for May, so things should speed up a little then...

And again a visit to a collection NOT very well known for its fowl and waterfowl-collection but again every species seen new for the Challenge 2018. At Beekse Bergen I saw yesterday the following species:
    13 ) White-faced whistling-duck - Dendrocygna viduata ( see White-faced whistling-duck | ZooChat )
    14 ) Meller's duck - Anas melleri ( see Meller's and White-faced whistling-ducks | ZooChat )
    15 ) Yellow-necked francolin - Francolinus leucoscepus ( see Yellow-necked francolin | ZooChat )
    16 ) Fulvous whistling-duck - Dendrocygna bicolor ( see Fulvous whistling-duck | ZooChat )
    17 ) Hottentot teal - Spatula hottentota ( see Hottentot teal | ZooChat )

2 species seen on previous visits ( last year ) not seen : Trumpeter swan and Vulturine guineafowl but quite sure I will see them later this year.

*Birdland had a small crested quail thing in the desert house, but it wasn't signed and there isn't anything on ZTL. It looks like a Californian quail, if anyone could confirm that would be awesome.

@Dormitator that is a female California quail, indeed ;)

I did another quick run through Antwerp again today to finally get that Edward's pheasant, but I believe that thing just doesn't exist as I missed it again. Antwerp does, however, have two new species for this challenge since last time though!

    Antwerp Zoo, 03/05/2018:
    55) Crested guineafowl, Guttera pucherani
    56) Jungle bush quail, Perdicula asiatica

It was posted on here (23rd) before anyone commented on the photo itself (24th). Not that it matters, you still nailed the ID :)
