I thought very carefully before placing my vote. There were three photographs which really stood out to me and I wanted to make sure I went for the absolute best one. Surprisingly, the current leader wasn’t one of the photographs on my shortlist.

36 votes?? If it was a poor snapshot of an enclosure with no animals visible would it get more views?

I don't get it. I mean, I do get quality photography, but I' appear to be in minority on here..

I have to say @ro6ca66, you take a decent Yellow Throated Marten photo. It won my vote as I could well imagine an enlarged version of this photo framed in the office of those at Twycross Zoo who curate the animal.

Not sure about runaway, the gap has been slowly closing.

 

My favourite is currently in second place, so I’m hopeful!

I've edited the thread title to hopefully draw a few more voters in.
