the photos of the exhibits look nice but (speaking as a New Zealander) I do have to wonder why they even bother creating a New Zealand section and then stocking it with (according to the article) cassowaries, wallabies and emus!

Does anyone have a species list for the new Australasian section?

mura mura territory consists of 3 "zones"
    - the aviary with parakeets, cockatoos, ducks, doves and australian waterdragons.

    - walk through exhibit with red kangourous and magpiegoose

    - treefern forest with cassowary and a separate exhibit at the edge with emu and wallaby. this exhibit is quite large and goes on beyond the visitors eye. the trainride of the park goes through this part of the enclosure.
