So in a few months I will be taking the IB exams I have been improperly preparing myself for two years. Sadly I still cannot focus on my studies. If all goes well I will be able to go Santa Fe community college zoo animal technology. Did the people who work in the animal industry go through odious subjects at school to work with animals too?

tl;dr this thread is about academic life and how it was good/lame

Good luck with your exams. Yes, people who work professionally in zoos mostly have degrees now, and had to slog their way through classes and subjects they rather would not have en route to the degree. Having a biology degree will serve you well if you want to go into an animal-related profession.

Your 'a few months' is rather optimistic. I'm assuming by that you mean 'less than two months' ;).

(I am also taking IB exams in May btw)

Well I'm rather nonchalant rather than optimistic. Good luck LaughingDove. I am sure you are more worthy of passing than I am

Nah, that's definitely not true. And good luck to you too.
