Another new bird species! This time by @toto98 the stunning Multicoloured Tanager.
On a side note, central and south america, especially South America is where a lot of missing species are as not many Zoochatters have traveled there, especialy in regards to Fish, Amphibians, Reptiles and Invertebrates. This is an amazing species, if I remember correctly it's on the wish list of @Kakapo.

Beautiful bird. It's now on my wish list, at least.

A LOT of new species added in the past couple of days by myself and others, mainly invertebrates and fish. Fish will be covered in this first post.

Firstly Odontanthias fuscipinnis known as the Hawaiian Deep Anithas, an amazing golden coloured species of anithas that lives in deep water hence its almost non existence in aquaria.

Next Genicanthus personatus a species of angelfish endemic to the Hawaiian islands. This photo was taken by @EternalPigeon

Now three spiders and a sawfly by yours truly.

I packed my dacks when I saw the mouse spider, they are extremely venomous.

The Urban Wall Spider was chilling in my study :)

There are enclosures containing the Black House Spider on Zoochat but the spider is not visible so this is the first proper photo.

Intresting species from which I wanted to upload a photo already for a while. In the 1980s it was kept in small numbers at least in Dutch and German aviculture and I took care for them at Weltvogelpark Walsrode.
Just uploaded the photo I made at a bird-fair at the beginning of the year. These were the first Black-faced quailfinches I'd seen in almost 25 years !

( make it the second photo of the species in our Gallery ;) )
