I went to the members preview. It is a wonderful exhibit. Exhibits are larger. I did not place photos in the gallery because the Fox 8 videos I posted earlier in this thread show a lot of the exhibit.
Curious Creatures Update: Exhibit 14: Moon Jelly (Chambered nautilus will go here in the future and replace the moon jellies if the zoo can acquire them.)
Ana the golden lion tamarin is having vision problems which could prevent her from ever returning to the rainforest exhibit with her brother Rio.

I'm at the zoo for the first time, completing my list of visiting every major Ohio zoo. I just visited Curious Creatures and it was spectacular. I plan on not only getting a video of it but I also plan on a near complete walkthrough of the zoo.
Just left the zoo and despite its size and lack of attraction seeking animals, I was very fond of its effort of complexity and design. I not only was able to get a full species list, but I was able to film a full walkthrough of the zoo. Probably the only time I'll ever do this. My best photos will be up in a few hours.
I am glad you liked Akron. I am proud of my home zoo. It has come a long way over the past two decades. Curious Creatures is wonderful. Tiger Valley renovation is next. Rhinos and orangutans may likely be added down the road.
Here is my full walkthrough video of the zoo and here is my review: Akron Zoo - Species List, Walkthrough, and Review of the Akron Zoo
