Alligator Adventure is a 15-acre facility located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Species at the facility includes spotted hyena, cougar, common squirrel monkey, black-and-white ruffed lemur, southern cassowary, Chilean flamingo, laughing kookaburra, American alligator, false gharial, green anaconda, white-lipped pit viper, Aldabra giant tortoise, alligator snapping turtle, blue tree monitor, and red-eyed tree frog, among other species. Spoiler: Domestic News On June 20th, 2023, the zoo announced that they acquired (4.0) Painted Desert sheep which are on exhibit. Alligator Adventure On January 30th, 2024, it was announced that the zoo will acquire (0.0.2+) American alligators from the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island in North Carolina in early February.
