A couple of years ago, Los Angeles exhibited a small group of Pygmy Marmosets for what I believe was the first time here. Then they disappeared again and I don't know why. I was just starting to enjoy them and hope to see them back again someday.

I'd like to see these animals return to Milwaukee County Zoo:

    Indian Rhinoceros
    Capybara
    Caracal

These species were exhibited at the zoo in the past as well:

    Cougar
    Asian Elephant
    White Rhinoceros
    Asian Small-Clawed Otter
    Striped Hyena
    Bengal Tiger (white)
    Blackbuck
    Wolverine
    North American Porcupine
    Koala
    Arctic Wolf
    Proboscis Monkey
    Coquerel's Sifaka*

*Because one is featured on the wood sign outside of the Small Mammals Building, the zoo must have had them at some point, but I don't know for sure.

When did Oakland exhibit polar bears? Or spectacled bears for that matter?

    @reduakari

i think it was back in the 1980s when oakland was listed as one of the worst american zoos, but i am not exactly sure, i know there animal collection used to be a lot bigger

With the last impala in Toronto having passed away in December, I would like to see a herd of them at the Toronto again, and/or for the Thomson's Gazelle to be brought back (expand if the current enclosure would be too small with the two species combined plus the Kudo and bird species?). Shame to see North America's herds of hooved stock dissipating, maybe this could be a boost.

And while I'm in the savannah section there, not only for the elephants to stay; but more could be brought in and a new, bigger enclosure to accommodate them all (plus a bachlor group of males).

Bottle-nosed dolphin (in a horribly small tank that then became a horrible North American river otter exhibit, now replaced by a much better otter exhibit).
    River hippo
    Yak
    Scottish highland cattle
    Spider monkeys

I could be wrong but I don't think that Santa Barbara has ever had zebras, hippos, orangs, or chimps. Where are you getting this info?

They did have fruit bats, Geoffery's cats, slow loris (all of these in former nocturnal house which is now Ewwwwww!), black-tailed prairie dogs, pink-toed tarantulas, a beaver, an American badger, mountain lions, tigers, clouded leopards, black and white ruffed lemurs, ring-tailed lemurs, and spectacled langurs.
