I decided to post this in the "General Zoo Discussion" section rather than in the Loro Parque thread because this publication, while from Loro Parque and discussing some issues specific to their facility, applies far more broadly and generally and is intended to be a general document of arguments to support zoological facilities. Earlier this week Loro Parque published a document, which can be found in PDF form at the links below, that intends to be an "encyclopedia" of anti-captivity arguments and how to debunk these arguments, with references to scientific materials included. I think this is an important document for zoo enthusiasts like us to save on our computers for future reference or use and also makes up for interesting reading.
