The aquarium at London zoo has sent out an appeal to fish keepers around the world.
The zoo currently holds 2 males of the critically endangered Mangaraharan cichlid from Madagascar, so far only another male at the aquarium at Zoo Berlin has been found.
Anyone with information about the cichlids should email the ZSL London Zoo team at [email protected].

I´m quite optimistic they should be able to find some. Chiclids are very populair fishes and most species are bred quite succesfull. In countries like the USA, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium many spezialized breeders occur and I´m almost sure some still have Mangarahara chiclids !
