Plans are moving forward for AquaFoz, backed by developer of AquaRio AquaFoz – Aquário de Foz do Iguaçu
Very interesting news, especially as the aquatic biodiversity of the Paraná is often overlooked and underrepresented compared to that of the Orinoco and Amazon basins. I wonder if some of the other threatened freshwater mammals and birds of the region will be featured too. Inclusion of marine systems is also interesting. I know very little about the marine ecosystems of the Southwestern Atlantic that far south, but I imagine it's less biodiverse than more tropical regions further north.
