I recently visited the Aquarium of the Pacific. The Marine mammals were particularly active while I was there.

Ellie and Shelby the aquariums two harbor seals apparently mated with Troy and are denning behind the scenes

The aquarium has two grey tip, two bonnethead sharks and a scalloped hammerhead shark on display at the molaki animal marine center. The staff members told me they will all go on display at the big tank in shark lagoon once they get bigger

The pacific visions construction has been mostly completed. I saw staff members starting to put some of the animals in their exhibit

Anyway. I uploaded some picture on my visit there. Hope this was helpful information

The usual story: over-exploitation of natural resources and our irresponsible behavior leading to extinction of another species. And the political reality that holds sway at the moment seems to think that humankind lives separate from the environment and all is for one species (short term financial "gains").

Now that is interesting! Assuming it's rescued, do you know why?

This is wonderful. It's concerning to realize that HALF of the population growth in a key area came from rehabilitation and release. That means numbers aren't increasing on their own. We can't be satisfied until the population continues to increase sustainably on its own.

The Tropical Pacific Gallery has been transformed for our newest exhibit, Coral Reefs: Nature’s Underwater Cities! This exhibit will showcase the beauty and diversity of coral reefs and their animal residents, plus some new animals we are so excited for you to meet! Visitors will be able to learn more about coral reefs, the threats they face, and what you can do to help save them.

Also The Aquarium has a Red-footed Booby as part of their animal ambassadors program.
In addition to reopening this weekend, we have some new animals we are excited for you to meet! This is Sula, a red-footed booby. Sula is one of two red-footed boobies known to be living at a zoo or aquarium. They get their common name from their red feet and have blue and pink colored beaks.
