    I need to visit Shedd..

I have seen Pacific Hagfish at the Oklahoma Aquarium. I think I saw them somewhere else as a child, but I don't remember where.

This is a strange video. In my opinion fake, but I will see what you guys think. It is said to be held at Cortez sealife aquarium, which I have never heard of.

They have them at a few African aquariums, some Japanese aquariums, and maybe was kept at MBA at some point as well.

I have seen Hagfish in the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town, which they list as Atlantic hagfish.

Are there lemmings in zoos? I'm especially curious about the tri-colored Norway lemming, as it looks cool.

How do you know, especially if you've never visited? They could be behind the scenes.

I believe the Amsterdam zoo might have had them at one point. They might even still have them.

No need to guess when it comes to mammals in European zoos, zootierliste will tell you Amsterdam does not keep them and is not listed as a former holding either. Norway lemming are only kept in a zoo in Finland according to zootierliste. Multiple Lemming species are kept in zoos, with Steppe lemming being most common (least rare), this species is also not too uncommon in the private trade.

As I said, the armstrongi rattlesnakes are currently shown on ZIMS as being held at Staten Island - but not all zoos keep their ZIMS records bang up-to-date. It's possible the taxon is no longer there.

Sorry, I misremembered a post from someone saying they hadn't visited with yours.

Regardless, I believe SIZ (unfortunately) no longer exhibits all of their rattlesnake species as they have in the past, so them being present on ZIMS and not in the zoo's public collection implies that they are held bts.

The above information also tells me I've missed my shot of seeing the species, as I've visited all three US zoos keeping the species and they've been bts at each one! Not the first rattlesnake this has happened with.
