Snow leopards Raj and Kovo have their SSP recommendations. Again I can't tell who is who by their studbook number but one will got to Philadelphia and the other is headed to Tama Zoo in Japan. The one going to Japan is being traded for a female who will come to Toronto. No schedule for the moves.

Young polar bears Humphrey, Star and Blizzard have moved into the Journey to Churchill exhibit where they will be introduced to the older bears Hudson, Storm, Aurora and Kaska this fall. The zoo has a new harbour seal, Caesium. He was rescued by the Vancouver Aquarium after he damaged his jaw. Surgery was performed but he doesn't have the full range of motion so he wasn't seen as a good candidate for release. He is getting along well with the other three seals.

Polar bear introductions continue. Two year olds Humphrey, Star and Blizzard have met 3 year olds Kaska and Aurora. The five appear to be getting along well. Next up will be eventual intros to 4 year old Hudson and 5 year old Storm.
