With the annual AZA conference just a couple of weeks away does anyone know what exhibits are in the running this year for top exhibit award?
This topic used to be hotly anticipated and discussed in the past, but not this year! I never saw a list of the eligible submissions, and have not heard of the winners...the AZA website does not list this years winners yet, at least not for the public.

Congratulations to the winners of the Exhibit Award – institutional operating budget over $5 million: Top Honors – Sedgwick County Zoo for “Reed Family Elephants of the Zambezi River Valley” Significant Achievement – San Diego Zoo Global for “Africa Rocks” Significant Achievement – South Carolina Aquarium for “Zucker Family Sea Turtle Recovery™” It appears that no award was given for operating budgets less than $5 million, since none are listed in the press release.
That reel is fun to watch, to see zoo commercials from other television markets! I liked the St Louis one the best, with the Explorer kid discovering the grizzly bear exhibit.
I totally agree with this statement, it's awesome to see the range and variety of zoo commercials in other TV markets! I liked the Blank Park Zoo commercial the most, it wasn't overly flashy but it was well produced and had a good message.
