Dora the sea lion pup has sadly passed away; (see quote from zoos Facebook below)

We are extremely sad to inform all our followers that Dora, our young sea lion pup, was found dead in the sea lion pool this morning. A full investigation is taking place and we are awaiting the results of the post-mortem. Our keepers who cared for her and indeed everyone at the zoo are absolutely devastated by this sad news.

Banham have recently had another titi monkey birth. Also, the howler monkeys have started to be given access to the trees outside their enclosure.

Annual membership gets you 50% off entry to around 8 zoos in East Anglia. However if you get it at Jimmy’s Farm you get the same deal only paying £25 for membership plus you get 10% off in the shop and cafe.
The other zoos are around £60 membership so it works out great value to get the membership and the same perks from Jimmy’s Farm.

Potential enough for something as big as Elephants? I remember 10+ years ago when visiting the zoo a keeper mentioned it is something they would love to bring in. But would the zoo have the financial resources to pull off a project like that?

There is a large horse Paddock running more or less parallel to this enclosure too, I wouldn't say rhino would be impossible

I wonder how many visitors actually got a good view of them in the main enclosure.

In the last 3 months they have definitely been more active for people, I've been lucky enough to photograph both of them for the whole 17 months pretty much but yes a lot of people haven't had that sort of luck!
