    New gorilla in futere

Female gorilla Kwanza should have been sent to Belfast in late August but she fell from a tree and broke her femur .So she 'll be sent to Belfast when she'll be in a better form.

Any updates as to when the female tiger is arriving? Is she still coming from Spain?

Hi Fergie. There will be quite a few animal moves\arrivals over the next while. 2011 should be a great year for new arrivals at Belfast.

Will Belfast be getting marbled polecats in the future saying as they now hold the stud book for the species?

Hi Vulpes, initially I am trying to concentrate on getting the low population breeding again and finding new founders. The species is not currently in our immediate collection plan but maybe in the future! It really is a beautiful species! :)
