The Animal Management Centre at Berkshire College has recently received of group of four Cuban Rock Iguana from Jersey - these are the only ones on the UK mainland in a public collection. Two of the Iguana (all juvenile's) have since moved onto France whilst a pair have remained onshow at the centre

Other recent arrivals have included a group of four Egyptian Tortoise's from a customs seizure, a trio of Cotton Top Tamarins from Drusillas Park and various new snake species including:

    King Ratsnake (Elaphe carinata)

Rough Greensnake (Opheodrys aestivus) - one of only three public collections in Europe to keep them!

    Madagascan Giant Hognose (Leiohetrodon madagascerensis)

The centre also gained full BIAZA membership earlier in the year as well
