Congratulations to all the photographers involved. I had a hard time deciding between two of the entries and am pleased to see that they both made the top three. :)

An excellent top three, with a special mention to Ro6ca66’s Pardine Genet too, which made my own personal top three.

I'd also like to thank Arizona Docent for organising the poll, and thanks to Laughing Dove for nominating my photo. And to the 15 who voted for it.

The other photos are also excellent and considering the stiff competition I was quite surprised when my picture took an early lead. Congratulations to those photographers too, they take some brilliant photos.

Looking forward to the next poll in a year's time!

    :p

I'm quite embarrassed to say that I didn't know that this thread was here until today, and also really grateful (and somewhat overwhelmed) by the votes for my spectacled bear image. Thank you for all who did, and congratulations to Hix for winning with his great image.

For me, it was one of those zoo days, miserable weather and I sat in the car for a while debating whether to even go in. Thankfully I did, as the sleet turned to "proper" snow and the animals were out making the most of it.
