Hey all! We're looking at revamping our Black-Footed Cat exhibit! Does anyone have photos of some good looking exhibits? Right now they're on sand and have several hiding spots (pots, logs, and some plants), but not much as far as elevation.

Any advice would be great! :) Thanks!

    Hi,

The best I know of was at Exotarium in Frankfurt, indoors, with replica of real rock formations. Sadly, it is now used for tamanduas and the rocks apparently started breaking down and were casually plastered with normal cement. It is this one:

Nearby hyrax exhibit looks now better (note the balanced rock)

Yours is outdoors? You could build them fake termite mound. Wild black-footed cats often hide in old termite mounds. Google "namibia termite mound" to see how they look like in Namibia. :)
