Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens Boat billed herons

    I was thrilled to see these because I loved them since I saw one in Costa Rica a couple of years ago. I don't remember seeing them the previous times I was at CWP but I guess I just missed them. Have they ever bred? I could not see them under b or h on the website.

    ISIS are showing the park as having a pair (1.1), one of my favourite bird species, good to see them in more and more collections in the UK.

    the male is a 09 bird and the female is a 08 bird both donated by blackbrook in march this year

    I had a feeling they might be part of the Blackbrook Boatbill Explosion. :D
